We get asked a lot lately how CopeCart relates to COPE, and where CopeCart Pro fits in. Fair question, so here's the answer.

The short version: CopeCart, CopeCart Pro and COPE are three platforms run by three separate companies in the same corporate group. Separate contracts, separate terms, separate accounts. In the US you're the seller on all three, so the real difference isn't the legal setup. It's what happens in the minutes after your buyer says yes.
CopeCart is currently still running. You don't have to move anything right now, and at this point there's no mandatory migration deadline.
Six things we'll cover:
Who runs each platform and how they relate
Who legally sells to your buyer, in the US and in the EU
Why COPE covers acquisition, conversion and retention in one account
What the three platforms cost
All three side by side
Which platform fits which business
Who runs what?
Cope Americas LLC runs CopeCart in the United States. Copecart Pro Limited in Dublin runs CopeCart Pro. Cope Global LLC runs COPE.
Same corporate group, legally separate. For you that means each platform has its own terms, and an account on CopeCart isn't an account on COPE.
Who legally sells to your buyer?
Every sale has exactly one seller in the legal sense. That party sets the terms, issues the invoice and owes the tax.
On CopeCart in the US, you sell.
You're the seller, and your buyer buys from you. We're not a reseller on the US side. CopeCart acts as merchant of record agent: we handle the transaction in your name, and you stay the party your buyer is contracting with.
On CopeCart Pro, you sell.
Your terms apply, the invoice carries your branding, and you handle your own tax.
One exception worth knowing. Sell through the EU entity and it flips: there, CopeCart buys from you and resells to your buyer as merchant of record. CopeCart appears on the invoice, sets the terms and remits the VAT. If you sell into Europe through CopeCart GmbH, that's the single biggest difference from your US setup.
On COPE, you sell.
Your buyer buys from you, not from a middleman. Your brand is in the contract and your terms apply.
The work behind it still goes away. COPE processes the payment on your behalf, issues the invoice, and validates the VAT ID of your business customers in Europe.
Why COPE can be your only tool
Most platforms process a transaction. That's where they stop.
COPE covers the three parts your business actually runs on:
Acquisition. The ad identifiers from Meta, Google, TikTok and Microsoft survive the sale and reach you by webhook instead of getting lost on the way. That lets you match sales to the ads behind them. The affiliate program is coming soon.
Conversion. Checkout in nine languages (CopeCart: four, CopeCart Pro: three). Installments and financing built in, so a $10,000 offer can become four payments for your buyer. With financing, you're paid out once the provider approves the purchase, subject to that provider's terms. Discount codes. Upsells and downsells right after the purchase. Payment links you send mid-conversation.
Retention. Your course and your community sit in the same account as the sale. Your buyer pays and is enrolled and inside in the same second. No second login, no invite email stuck in spam, no weekend data export.
Tomorrow you see one person instead of three records: what they bought, where they are in the course, whether they're active in the community.
The rest runs in the background. Your customer emails go out in nine languages - receipts, reminders, confirmations.
MOCKUP: A PURCHASE AT CHECKOUT, THEN THE SAME BUYER INSIDE THE COURSE AND THE COMMUNITY
What the three platforms cost
None of the three charges a monthly fee. You pay when you sell.

Monthly fee | none | none | none |
Per sale | from 2.9% + $1 per transaction as a founding member, if you qualify | commission only, no up-front cost | commission only, no up-front cost |
Become a founding member. We're opening these entry terms to a limited group of vendors. After that, regular pricing applies - including for anyone still thinking it over.
Whether you qualify is a short conversation. Book your demo, we'll look at your setup together, and you'll know exactly where you stand.
Don't compare percentages alone. Add up what your stack costs right now: transaction fee, course platform, community tool, invoicing tool. On COPE the course and the community sit inside the account instead of next to it.

How switching works
You keep selling while we migrate. The move is usually done in two days. Your CopeCart account stays open during the move, and your products, subscriptions and affiliates currently keep running there untouched.
You don't need anyone to install anything. We tell you up front what changes on your site. No waiting on a developer who's out.
Which platform fits which business
CopeCart is right for you if your business runs on subscriptions or affiliates, and you want the platform that has been doing it for years.
CopeCart Pro is right for you if your brand belongs on the invoice and you already handle your own tax.
COPE is right for you if your course, your community and your checkout are three separate tools today. On COPE your buyer pays and gets access right away, to the course and the community. No second login, no support email asking where the course is. For you that's one account, one bill, one source of truth.

Frequently asked questions
Is CopeCart shutting down? CopeCart is currently still being operated. As of today, there's no shutdown date.
Is COPE just the new CopeCart? No. COPE is a separate platform run by a separate company, under its own contract. Accounts, contracts and terms are separate.
What's the difference between CopeCart and CopeCart Pro? On CopeCart Pro you sell in your own name, with your own terms and your branding on the invoice. In the US you're the seller on both, so the difference is the branding and the setup around it.
Do I have to move from CopeCart to COPE? No. There's currently no mandatory migration deadline.
What happens to my active subscriptions and payment plans? They currently keep running on the platform where they were created.
Do I need my own terms and conditions on COPE? Yes. You're the seller, so your terms apply.
Which currencies can I sell in on COPE? US dollars and euros.
How long does moving to COPE take? It's usually done in two days, and you keep selling on CopeCart while it happens.
Who is my contracting party? The company whose platform you use: Cope Americas LLC in the US, CopeCart GmbH in the EU, Copecart Pro Limited for CopeCart Pro, or Cope Global LLC for COPE.
In the end it comes down to two questions: who sells, and what happens in the minutes after your buyer says yes.
If your course and your community live somewhere else today, a conversation is worth your time. The move is usually done in two days, you keep selling while it happens, and as a founding member you can lock in the entry terms. Book a migration call
